The tiniest baby ever....

We have the most adorable, and TINY baby that we have the opportunity to see regularly (which is WONDERFUL, because we love babies!) for her first year.  This little one was in for her 4 month session recently and weighed in at just shy of 9 pounds.  It's so fun to hold her - she's the size of a big newborn, but the personality and body control of a 4 month old.  The neatest part is that she's just a petite little gal!  She's also got the biggest eyes, big even for any other 4 monther.  She also likes to be snuggly, which is great because I do like to get my snuggle time in with babies since my own babies are school aged now!

Recently, we spent some time in a sunflower field!  What a gorgeous place, I can't believe we have them around here!  Even prettier than that though, is the young lady pictured in the field! 

 

 

Family is a Gift

You may or may not know about our relationship with The Baby Fold - each year we host a fundraiser event for them which is a baby and child portrait contest.  We have the opportunity to meet families that are great supporters of The Baby Fold and families that are touched by the great things The Baby Fold offers to our community.

This year we met one family in particular that stepped right into my heart - great parents that have been given a gift of 3 wonderful children I absolutely fell in love with.  I can't wait to share them with you!  This family is a true testament that family is a gift.

Rain Rain Go Away!!

With all of the rain we have been getting these past few weeks, it's no wonder this little girl had her rain boots on!!!  She was prepared for our adventure as we headed out for a fun day of exploring.  Just in case the sun decided to make an appearance, she was prepared with her cool shades in image 4. 

It is always a joy to photograph this little lady but more importantly, I love capturing the different stages that she goe through.  What a treasure for both the family and child.  I can't wait to see where our next adventure will take us!!

The Jolly Man in the Big Red Suit Visits!

It's already Christmas here at the studio - our Christmas holiday set has arrived, and with it, a very special young lady!  We also had another special visitor that quietly arrived to remind us that the Holidays are right around the corner!  Here's a sneak peek!

Spunky and smiles - 6 months old | Bloomington Normal baby photographer

This handsome little one was in for his 6 month session, and it was the first-ever session in our new camera room!  What better way to break it in than to have the opportunity to photograph such a happy, wonderful baby.  I can't wait now to meet the rest of his family!

Walkin' with a little help - love the concentration on his face and the dribble-drool on his lip!

And this one is just fun!  What an expressive baby - he has eyebrows just like I remember my baby having, which help to show those expressions!

 

Beautiful and bright~just like this senior!

Three years ago I was introduced to this wonderful family with family portraits, and now senior pictures were next on this family's agenda!

So, when they called I was honored at the chance to photograph for this family again!  I am so glad that I did because there were so many amazing shots from that 2 day photo shoot.  We had a lot of fun at the studio doing different shots-check out the wind in the hair shot!  Isn't she so pretty?

Some of my favorite images came from the outdoor session we had at McGraw Park.  The sun was so beautiful that day and we were able to get some unique images.  Which one is your favorite?
